join us friday, january 26th for another australian wine dinner!  help us celebrate the official national day of australia when the first british settlers arrived in sydney back in 1788.  present-day celebrations reflect the diversity of the nation and as such, arthur's will be celebrating with a wine dinner showcasing many different vineyards with beautiful pairings from chef ian welch.

chef ian has designed a menu that reflects some of his favorite flavors and food preparations, while also showcasing the beauty of flavors present on the menu at arthur's.  with six beautiful courses we will offer six beautiful wines, expertly picked by the team at arthur's along with our gracious host, neighbor, and wine expert, martin gorman of red earth wines.

first course - melon, mint, poppy shrimp cocktail

second course - escargot stuffed mushrooms
pinot noir

third course - chicken parm (australia's go-to pub food, with exquisite attention to detail)

fourth course   - purple scallops
semillon sauvignon blanc

fifth course - it's an aussie day surprise!

chef ian uses over 20 years of incredible talent to put together the most beautiful of dishes that exhibit the flavor and simplicity we are known for here at arthur's.  just take the braised pork served with carrot mash and fig reduction from august's dinner; a fan favorite!


the food

some highlights from previous dinners include this beautiful slow-braised pork shoulder atop arthur's signature carrot mash and adorned with sautéed figs and a mushroom, chicken gravy.

other favorites have included the creative combination of filet mignon, smoked coffee, and lingonberries.  december's dinner promises to be of equal measure to our previous creations.
